Adding or Removing a Customs Hold for Containers

From your container search results, you can add or remove a customs hold for selected containers.

To add or remove a customs hold

1. Log into Mainsail Online; click the Container tab and then select the Search option. The Container Search screen will display.

2. In the container search fields, enter your search parameters and then click Search. The containers matching your search criteria will display.

3. In your search results, select the containers with the customs status you want to update. In the Select Action menu, click the down arrow and then select Add Customs HOLD or Remove Customs HOLD.

4. An Add Customs Hold or Remove Customs Hold notification will display beneath your search results; click the OK button to update the hold status for the selected containers.
